Our residents have voiced similar thoughts and the facility seems to be in use at all times! With regards to the new school site, if you are talking about the Elementary School, that construction schedule is in the hands of the Chula Vista Elementary School District. We transfered the property to them several years back, but the overall growth of their enrollment has not yet justified the construction of a new school. The last time we asked them about the schedule, they told us 2012 was their target date to start construction. As for the combo Jr/Sr High School, we find a similar situation. The Sweetwater Union High School District last told us that 2012/13 was their target to start construction. If the economy turns around quickly, these dates are likely to hold.
